The terms that apply when you browse or buy from ZECHEN ATELIER, including pricing, orders, liability and governing law.

These terms apply to everyone who visits this website or orders from it. By placing an order you accept them. If you do not accept them, please do not use the store.
Who we are
ZECHEN ATELIER sells leather handbags online. “We” and “us” mean ZECHEN ATELIER; “you” means the person browsing or buying.
Products, colours and measurements
We photograph every bag ourselves and describe materials and dimensions as accurately as we can. Natural leather varies in grain, tone and marking, and screens render colour differently, so a small difference between the photograph and the bag is expected and is not a defect. Measurements are approximate to within one centimetre.
Prices and availability
Prices are in US dollars and exclude shipping unless stated. We may change prices at any time, but the price you paid is the price that applies to your order. If a bag turns out to be priced wrongly, we will contact you before shipping and you may cancel for a full refund.
Orders and acceptance
Your order is an offer to buy. Our order confirmation email acknowledges it but does not accept it; acceptance happens when we dispatch the goods. We may decline an order if the item is out of stock, if the price was clearly misstated, or if we suspect fraud. If we decline, you are charged nothing.
Limited pieces may sell out between your order and dispatch. If that happens we cancel the line and refund it in full, and tell you the same day.
Payment
Payment is taken at checkout through our payment processor. We do not store card details. If a payment is reversed or declined after dispatch, we may ask for another method or for the goods to be returned.
Using the site
You agree not to scrape the site at a rate that degrades it, attempt to access accounts or data that are not yours, or use the store for anything unlawful. We may suspend access for breach of these terms.
Intellectual property
The ZECHEN ATELIER name, logo, product photography and site copy belong to us. You may share links and images for personal, non-commercial purposes. Do not use them to sell goods or imply an endorsement without our written permission.
Reviews and user content
If you submit a review or photograph, you confirm it is your own and grant us a non-exclusive licence to display it on the site. We may remove content that is unlawful, abusive or unrelated to the product.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, our liability for any claim relating to an order is limited to the amount you paid for it. We are not liable for indirect losses such as lost profit or lost opportunity. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including for death, personal injury or fraud.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, and the courts of New York have exclusive jurisdiction, without affecting any consumer rights you have where you live.
Changes
We may update these terms. The version in force is the one published here when you place your order, and the date at the top tells you when it last changed.
